Applicant Merge is a functionality in FSIA using which authorized user/s can merge screens related to two applicant's with same demographics.
The user can come to this page from the following:
o By clicking the 'Admin' link on the header bar, Administration Home Page will open. On this page based on the profile user can see the Applicant Merge link. By clicking the Applicant Merge link the Applicant Merge page will open.
The following details are needed to do Applicant Merge:
o SSN number for first Applicant – Required.
o SSN number for second Applicant – Required.
By clicking the 'Search' button the page will reload again with two applicant details and merge plan. And once user verifies the merge plan and checks the confirmation checkbox and then by clicking the ‘Confirm’ button system will perform the merge.
If the system is not able to create the merge plan or for any other issues during the merge process a validation will display on the page stating the situation and asking the user to contact appropriate person for manual merge.
Once the merge process is complete the removing applicant details and also the retaining applicant ID will be stored in the database for future auditing purpose.
